The Liberian Community in the Northern Territory was established in 2005 to provide tangible support to Liberians living within Australian communities; and to invest in key areas of needs and unifying interest.
In recognition of Liberians cultural history and unity, the Liberian Community in the Northern Territory aims to build genuine connections and play a larger part in societal functions. The Liberian Community in the Northern Territory exhibits its capacity in taking a sustainable approach to the creation of long term social values, networking and acknowledging key achievements of Liberians and its noble organization.
Additionally, the Liberian Community in the Northern Territory prides itself in the strong legacy and the brand it has developed over a period. It continues to provide meaningful contributions to society, triumph for unity and social networking. The Liberian Community is committed in identifying and delivering values and support to various not-for-profit organizations. Our support includes funding, awareness, advocacy, and access to our capabilities for skilled and general volunteer and capacity building support.
Our aims are:
To build genuine and unifying relationships with us Liberians and the wider Australia,
To positively address some of the most critical issues within the Liberian Community and the wider Australian society,
To network and engage people,
And to support community organizations in fulfilling their aspirations.
