Graduating with an Australian university degree is a great milestone for anyone. But it is even greater for someone who starts out in life as a refugee. This is quite evident with our most recent graduates:
  • Mr. Edward Solo …………………………..Master of Public Administration
  • Mrs. Koffa Yengbie………………………  Bachelor of Nursing
  • Ms. Teasade Jabateh…………………… Bachelor of Nursing
For most Liberians, education is an enlightenment that has been embedded within the minds of many Liberians who have migrated from war-torn country like Liberia and refugee settlements. Many of the Liberian kids and young adults are now completing secondary education and forging ahead to Australian universities to complete their under graduate degree and post-graduate degree.
Considering the facts that some Liberians adults never had opportunities to attend universities or colleges due to the outbreak of 14 years civil war, many of those who fell short of higher education are now integrated into Vocational institutions and obtaining Certificates, Diploma, and Advance Diploma at the expense of their vigorous zest for education and great humanitarian efforts from the Australian citizenry.
Having said that, many of these folks are now enjoying employment with governmental institutions and private entities. As we forge ahead with great optimistic legacies and profound vision, we envisage increased amount of Liberians graduating from Australian universities.
